Every portrait is created by hand using your dog’s real photos.
We carefully combine your dog as a puppy and as an adult into one natural, emotionally meaningful image.

From upload to delivery, the process is designed to be simple, clear, and stress-free.

The Process

Step 1 - Submit Your Photos

After you place an order, send us an email with:

  • Your Order Number

  • 1-3 Photos of your dog as a puppy

  • 1-3 Photos of your dog as an adult

  • Any social media accounts that have more photos (ex. Instagram)

Choose photos where your dog is clearly visible. If you’re unsure which images will work best, you can include a few options, and we’ll review them.

Step 2 - We Review Your Images

Before editing begins, we take a close look at your photos to ensure they’ll work well together.

If anything needs to be adjusted or improved, we’ll reach out before starting your portrait.

Step 3 - We Create Your Portrait

Each image is carefully crafted by hand using professional compositing techniques.

What we focus on:

  • Matching lighting and shadows

  • Creating a natural, realistic composition

  • Preserving your dog’s true look and expression

  • Ensuring both versions feel connected in the same moment

Step 4 - Final Delivery

Your finished portrait is delivered digitally by email.

Includes:

  • High-resolution image

  • Print-ready format

Timeline:

  • 5-7 business days

Choosing the Right Photos

Best Results:

  • Clear, well-lit photos

  • Your dog is fully visible (or mostly visible)

  • Similar angles or poses when possible

  • Natural lighting (indoor or outdoor)

  • Minimal blur

Avoid:

  • Very dark or heavily shadowed photos

  • Low-resolution or screenshots

  • Heavy filters

  • Photos where your dog is blocked by people or objects

  • Extremely different angles (if better options are available)

If your photos aren’t perfect, don’t worry.
We’ll review what you send and let you know if anything needs to be adjusted.

What Makes a Portrait Feel Natural

The best results come from photos that allow both versions of your dog to feel like they exist in the same moment.

We carefully adjust:

  • Lighting direction

  • Color tones

  • Scale and positioning

  • Depth and shadows

The goal is not just to combine two photos—but to create a single, believable image that feels real.

Revisions

Each portrait includes one revision, so we can make small adjustments if needed.

This may include:

  • Minor positioning changes

  • Small tonal or lighting tweaks

Large changes (such as switching photos entirely) may require an additional edit.

Turnaround Time

Standard delivery time is 5–7 business days from the time your order is confirmed.

Rush delivery (3 days) is available as an add-on.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • After you complete and pay for your order we will reach out within 24 hours to ask for photos of your dog. You can send whichever ones that you think would be best including multiple of adult and puppy photos.

    If you have an instagram with photos you can also provide the instagram name as we can go find photos that way.

    If we decide to choose the photos ourselves, we will send you a mockup of which ones will be using.

  • Send your best options and we’ll review them.

  • We can often work with imperfect images, but clearer photos produce better results.

  • Your final image will be delivered digitally by email.

  • Not at this time, but we are in the process of offering them soon.

  • You will need to reserve spots and pay deposits for each pet.

  • I usually like to keep existing backgrounds already in the photos but I can change backgrounds. Please reach out after you order.

    *Please note an extra charge may be applied to change the background.

  • Yes. Not all edits have to be the puppy and adult. I can do any 2 animals combined in one photo for the same price.

  • In many cases, yes. We aim to create a natural, cohesive image regardless of the original photos.scription

  • Our goal is always to create a natural, believable image, not something that feels edited or artificial.

  • Yes. Many of these portraits are created as meaningful keepsakes. You’re welcome to include that in your notes.

  • Because each portrait is custom-made, orders are generally non-refundable once work has begun.
