Before You Order

To create the best possible portrait, please have:

  • 1 photo of your dog as a puppy

  • 1 photo of your dog as an adult

  • A few backup images if you’re unsure which are best

The better the photo quality, the better the final result. If you’re unsure, you can still submit your best options, and we’ll review them.

Photo Guidelines

Best Results

  • Clear, well-lit photos

  • The dog is fully visible or mostly visible

  • Similar angle or pose when possible

  • Minimal blur

  • High-resolution images

Don’t worry if your photos aren’t perfect, we’ll use our judgment and contact you if we need anything better.

Avoid

  • Very dark photos

  • Heavy filters

  • Extremely low-resolution screenshots

  • Photos where the dog is heavily blocked by people or objects

  • Photos taken from very different angles if better options exist

Frequently Asked Questions

  • After you complete and pay for your order we will reach out within 24 hours to ask for photos of your dog. You can send whichever ones that you think would be best including multiple of adult and puppy photos.

    If you have an instagram with photos you can also provide the instagram name as we can go find photos that way.

    If we decide to choose the photos ourselves, we will send you a mockup of which ones will be using.

  • Send your best options and we’ll review them.

  • We can often work with imperfect images, but clearer photos produce better results.

  • Your final image will be delivered digitally by email.

  • Not at this time, but we are in the process of offering them soon.

  • You will need to reserve spots and pay deposits for each pet.

  • I usually like to keep existing backgrounds already in the photos but I can change backgrounds. Please reach out after you order.

    *Please note an extra charge may be applied to change the background.

  • Yes. Not all edits have to be the puppy and adult. I can do any 2 animals combined in one photo for the same price.

  • Because each portrait is custom-made, orders are generally non-refundable once work has begun.
